Is it normal for NAC to have a slight odour?
Yes, NAC is a sulphur-based nutrient found in egg and other foods. If you dislike its natural smell, you can leave your capsules in the open air for a while before you take them.
Are your capsules completely pure and free of all nasties?
Yes, they contain nothing but NAC and rice flour, which keeps the NAC dry and fresh and makes it easier to digest. We use ZERO maltodextrin, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate, or any other unnecessary additives.
How does your packaging protect the capsules from moisture?
NAC reacts with oxygen and moisture, so we use a double-sealed rigid plastic bottle that is 100% recyclable. Bags and pouches don’t have a good enough moisture barrier, so store your NAC in its original bottle.
Are your capsules Vegan and Halal?
Yes. Unlike many other brands, we use vegetable capsule shells not gelatin, so our product is Vegan which makes them, Halal and Kosher friendly.
What’s the difference between N-Acetyl Cystine and N-Acetyl L-Cysteine?
No difference. N-acetyl-cysteine, N-acetylcysteine, N-acetyl cysteine, and N-acetyl-L-cysteine are all different names for the same compound.
