August MB225 Portable DAB+ Radio - 20 DAB Preset and 20 FM DAB Preset
The August MB225 radio is manufactured for DAB, DAB+ / TNT radio stations as well as classic FM stations across the UK, Europe and the world! This handheld device is optimised for portable reception and enjoyment.
DAB / DAB+ Radio
Listen to digital DAB radio with either DAB or DAB+ channels. DAB is the digital upgrade to national and local radio, in the same way digital terrestrial television replaced analogue. You can receive entire bands of channels from one connection and enjoy much more stable audio than FM.
20 DAB stations can be saved and memorised as favourites for quick-access via the LCD screen menu. You can also use the physical favourites buttons on the top of the radio for even faster, more accessible controls.
FM Radio
Alongside DAB, the MB225 supports FM radio reception. Receive local and national FM broadcasts from all your favourites and tune manually to find the frequencies you love. Save any frequency as a favourite for easy re-tuning later from music or news to sports and game shows. 20 FM stations can be saved in the device memory and, again, you can use the four physical favourite buttons on the top of the radio to access these stations at the press of a button.
Telescopic Aerial
The radio reception is achieved via a telescopic aerial. This aerial can extend and retract, even folding against the body of the radio for storage. Once extended, you can rotate and articulate the aerial for the best signal. Stand the radio on a bedside table and adjust the aerial towards a window or signal spot just as easily as carrying to the kitchen, attic, garage or garden!
