Installation Tips:

This is not an easy job for someone who has no experience at all. If you are unfamiliar on fitting the replacement screen, please search some video on Youtube, that will be helpful more than text instructions.

[Touch ID Function]

If you need to continue to use the fingerprint, you need to disassemble the old home button. If your Touch ID is not damaged, you can continue using Touch ID.

[Test]

Check whether the wiring is in good condition. If the cable is damaged, it will cause abnormal touch.

PLEASE NOTE

  • The LCD screen is not included. This screen is used to replace a cracked or broken touchscreen. If your device has display problems such as black dots or black lines, please replace the LCD.
  • DO NOT glue touch screen with your ipad until you TEST and make sure it works with your tablet.

The new screen is not responding?

You can try these ways:

First, you can wipe the cable with 95% alcohol.

Then, plug in the cable to make sure the contact is good.

Finally, try it again .

Home button is not working?

Please try to dismantle the home button module and reassemble it. The home button bracket is glued on the frame and it might be malposed. Please adjust the home button bracket to the correct position.

What do I have to do if I want to use Touch ID?

If you want to retain Touch ID, please transfer the old home button to the new screen. Because home button fingerprint scanners are paired to their respective logic boards, swapping in a new home button will result in losing Touch ID functionality.

What problems can be fixed with the screen?

Use to repair your wrong, cracked, damaged or faulty touch screen digitizer assembly. LCD is not included, cannot repair problems caused by damaged LCD, such as black dots or black lines.
