High pressure or low pressure?
When do I need a high-pressure faucet?
If there is a cold and a hot water pipe, and you can thus connect the sink faucet or washbasin faucet directly to it (central hot water supply or instantaneous water heater), you need a high-pressure faucet with two connections.
When do I need a low-pressure faucet?
If there is only one cold water pipe and the hot water is prepared by a hot water tank (boiler or undersink unit), you need a low-pressure fitting with 3 connection hoses.
