The kit contains all the accessories needed to replace your broken wired motor:

  • 3 sets of wheels and crowns of your choice, to hold the motor in the winding tube
  • 1 universal motor mounting bracket: secures the motor in the roller shutter box

This product is suitable for roller shutters with a timber box, tunnel or renovation, regardless of the brand of motor to be replaced.

The instructions accompany you step by step for a stress-free installation.

An all-in-one kit

If you are replacing a motor of a brand other than Somfy, a new adapter bracket is supplied in the kit.

The different sets of wheels and crowns adapt to the winding tube of your roller shutter.

Connect the new motor to the wired switch already present on your installation.

Upgrade your installation with TaHoma

Install a Centralis UNO RTS switch (ref. 2400850) integrating a radio receiver, also available on Amazon, to upgrade your installation and enjoy the comfort of the TaHoma home automation box. With it, you can control all your roller shutters remotely or program their opening and closing at specific times.

Follow the guide to replace your roller shutter motor

Before starting the replacement of the faulty motor, we recommend that you consult the manual.

The first step is to open the roller shutter box and detach the curtain from the tube in order to dismantle the motorised axle of your roller shutter and remove the motor present in it.

Insert the new motor in the motorised axle

Choose the wheel and crown set that fits your winding tube. Equip the new motor with this set and insert it into the winding tube.

We supply three wheel sets for three tube sizes: ZF54, ZF64 and OCTO 60.

Reassemble the motorised axle in the roller shutter box

Thanks to the motor support supplied in the kit, you can fix the winding tube in the box of your roller shutter.

Once the tube is in place, reattach the roller shutter to the axle as originally done.

Before closing your box, adjust the motor.

Adjust the new motor

The wired motor you have just installed can be adjusted by simply pressing the buttons on the motor head.

To adjust the limit switches of your motor, follow the instructions in the manual.

Once the motor has been adjusted, close your box.
