When set to ‘Wood’ mode, it provides highly accurate moisture content readings for various wood species such as teak, pine and oak. Use the included wood species guide to select the correct preset for the type of timber you're measuring. It’s just the thing for checking firewood moisture levels, and similarly great for assessing susceptibility to woodworm or inspecting building timbers for moisture damage. In ‘Building’ mode, the meter enables you to compare relative moisture values of masonry wall, enabling you to plot a moisture profile to help you diagnose dampness in buildings.
As well as moisture measurements, the Dryzone Moisture Meter accurately records ambient temperature in all modes, with a precision of plus or minus 2°C.
