PINK SUN has a unique range of all natural whey & casein protein powders. High in protein, low carb and gluten free, PINK SUN protein powders are great for all diet types especially keto.

All PINK SUN whey and casein protein powders are derived from whey and casein sourced from milk produced by grass fed* hormone free cows**. To produce great whey and casein protein powders you need to begin with grass fed cows in great health, eating what their digestive systems are designed to eat, grass and pasture based feeds. Cows in such great health are hormone free, as some protein powders are produced from cows which are fed on grain or stock feed and therefore to counter the poor milk production and quality these cows are often ‘boosted’ with milk producing hormones.

However at PINK SUN we know that to produce milk in its most natural form requires cows eating and living in their most natural way (mind the pun). So we source our whey and casein from grass fed hormone free cows.

PINK SUN whey and casein is then cold processed which ensures top quality undenatured protein powder with high natural biologically available protein ranging from 78% protein (Casein) to 92% protein (Natural whey).

All PINK SUN unflavoured protein powders can be mixed with water, milk, almond milk, fruit, PINK SUN organic coconut cream, PINK SUN raw organic coconut oil, PINK SUN raw organic cacao powder, PINK SUN liquid stevia drops or your own tasty ingredients to make delicious high protein smoothies.

Some PINK SUN protein powders do not contain any sunflower lecithin, therefore a shaker with a mesh screen is always recommended to aid mixability. A small milk frother / handheld electric whisk also works very well. Add to cereal, baking and cooking for additional protein in your diet. Scoop usually included, but may on occasion be omitted. Suitable for vegetarians, weight watchers and invalid diets.

Careful milk processing and whey protein separation

To produce undenatured whey with the maximum range and quantity of intact amino acids and peptides all PINK SUN whey is ultra/micro filtered at low temperature from milk produced in the UK and Europe. Through this process fragile amino acids and peptides are retained thus producing a whey protein powder with high levels of branch chain amino acids (BCAA) and Leucine.

By ultra/micro filtering at low temperature (unlike acid or ion exchange processing) the bioactivity of whey protein is maximised. This means the key amino acids for glutathione production are retained such as cysteine, glycine and glutamine.

Spray drying and whey protein finishing

But it is not just a matter of healthy grass fed hormone free cows and low temperature ultra/micro filtered whey with spray drying technology that make a great whey protein powder. At PINK SUN we keep all our whey proteins free from artificial sweeteners such as sucralose and aspartame. A small amount of non GM sunflower lecithin may be added to ensure the whey protein powder mixes well with liquid.

Everyday Whey, Natural Whey, Easy Whey Xtra, Organic Whey and Organic Casein Micellar are unflavoured, undenatured protein powders which let you the customer add your own unique flavouring to taste. They are carefully prepared from milk which must be heated to 72°C for 15 seconds to meet food standards regulations.
